FAQ's

What file format will my artwork be sent back as?

Our standard recommended file format is .ai (Adobe Illustrator). However we do provide you with the option to choose a different format if you prefer to suit the software you use. We also support .pdf .eps & .svg.

We will also send you a high resolution .png file of your artwork.

(PLEASE NOTE: png files are not vectors but are a high resolution image ideal for printing). If you require a different format to what is listed please contact us.

Which files work with my software?

Below is a list of the file formats we recommend for the main software used in the sign industry:

  • SignLab: .ai (SignLab friendly)
  • CorelDRAW: .eps
  • Flexicut: .eps
  • Adobe Illustrator: .ai

How do I get my image?

Once your image has been vectorised, your files will be uploaded to the File Locker section of our website. You will then receive an email containing your locker number and password to download your files. You can also share your locker number and password with other people involved in your project to save sending large files via email.

Which service should I use?

Font Creation
  • Basic font styles
  • Complex font styles with gradients & effects
  • Photos of fonts for us to turn into a vector image
Logo Redrawing
  • Icons
  • Illustrations
  • Logos
  • Logos that consist of text and illustrations
  • Photos of any of the above for us to turn into a vector image
If you would like us to redraw an illustration that isn't a logo or icon, maybe its an instructional illustration or an illustration of your client's product, for example. Please use our logo redrawing service.
Vector Art
Our vector art service is for customers who require us to draw a vector illustration based on a photo or image you give us. This service is not for us to redraw an existing illustration, but to create a new bespoke illustration to the requirements you have given us.

Do you sell signs?

No. We are not a signwriting company. We have an extensive knowledge of signwriting and 15 years experience in the sign industry and provide vector imaging services to sign writers nationwide.

What type of image can you vectorise?

We can vectorise 99% of images, although you need to bear in mind, if the image you are sending us is too blurry/pixelated we will not be able to physically see what to draw. All our vectors are drawn node by node, so it is important the image is good enough for us to read/see the picture. It is also important to remember to take a clear, straight, head on picture of any text you want us to vectorise. Please download our full guide below for more details on the images you can send us.

How long will it take you to vectorise my image?

All our work is done by real life humans, there are no tricks or hidden software that vectorise your images for us. We like to go through every image node by node to ensure our work is of the highest quality. This does take time, but we pride ourselves on a quick turnaround time. But please do allow 2 working days for text and logo regeneration and 5 working days for vector art.

What if I'm unsure if you can work with my image?

Feel free to email us your image before making a purchase so we can double check if we can vectorise it.
